Hey, I’m Kirstie. This is my travel story.

Welcome to my little corner of the world! I’m Kirstie, and I created Kirstie Will Travel to share my travel stories with you. I believe that adventure is a state of mind, and that means you can have a travel experience whether you’re discovering something new in your hometown or jetting off to exotic lands.

I didn’t travel abroad much as a child and spent my holidays in caravans and country houses around the U.K. I absolutely loved hiking and exploring! When I was 17 I headed off to uni to study French and Spanish and was met with the most amazing travel opportunities.

First I moved to France and spent 7 months in a little town in the south-west teaching English. This is where my love of travel was truly born and I spent every free moment exploring new places. I discovered the joys of solo travel and took a two week trip across Europe, covering 5 countries and 13 cities in just 17 days.

Since then, I’ve never looked back! After a bit more time at university in Scotland, I was able to study abroad, this time moving to Santander in Spain. By this point, my travel stories were starting to pile up and I was desperate for a creative outlet to share them with people. I started by making a travel Instagram, and then finally started blogging. Kirstie Will Travel has been a wonderful adventure so far and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.

Now I’m a university graduate living in Brussels, taking on the world and start laying my own path. I hope you want to join me on this journey (blogging and life), but above all else, I hope that my blog is an informative and joyful place for you. Whether you use my guides to plan your trips, or whether they simply inspire you to get out and make your life an adventure, I’m sure that you’ll love them.
